ACTIVITY DURING WWII for James L. Geary.

James entered the army in May 1943 and took his Basic Training at Camp Stewart Georgia. He received additional training at the Virginia Air Base in Richmond, Virginia for training to guard air bases, and received his European training at Camp Davis, North Carolina . He served with the 794th anti-aircraft artillery that was attached to the 9th Air Force. He served in France, Belgium, and Germany. After the war was over, he served with the 2098th Quartermaster Truck Company for the 8th Air Force in Munich and Frankfort, Germany. He attained the rank of Corporal and was honorably discharged in March, 1946.
